On March 25, 2025, DataCanvas and KoolLogix signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Singapore. This cooperation aims to leverage the technological foundation of A*STAR-KoolLogix Joint Lab, combined with DataCanvas's industry expertise in artificial intelligence, to jointly promote the innovative application of AI technologies in data centers and IT operations. Dr. Jiang Xu, Head of International Business at DataCanvas, attended the signing ceremony. He was also appointed as the AI Strategy Advisor to the Joint Lab, with a focus on advancing the AI service platform initiative and supporting the Laboratory’s strategic objectives. The Joint Laboratory was represented by C.K. Cheong and James Lim.

DataCanvas and KoolLogix sign strategic cooperation memorandum in Singapore

A*STAR-KoolLogix Joint Lab is co-established by Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and KoolLogix, dedicated to drive innovation in IT infrastructure solutions through interdisciplinary research.As a national-level research institution, A*STAR holds a globally leading position in technology R&D, industrial transformation, and talent cultivation.

According to the MoU, the two parties will collaborate in five key areas, primarily focusing on:

AI Service Platform Development: Both parties will jointly develop an AI service platform that supports data center operations. The platform will be first used within the joint laboratory and gradually promoted throughout Singapore.

Research Collaboration: The partnership will explore AI applications in IT infrastructure optimization, delivering intelligent and sustainable solutions for data center management in the region.

C.K. Cheong stated: "This collaboration will introduce cutting-edge AI technologies and perspectives to the Joint Laboratory, enabling us to achieve breakthrough advancements in IT infrastructure research. Through our partnership with DataCanvas, we aim to develop globally competitive IT infrastructure solutions while elevating Singapore’s leadership in AI and data center innovation."
