Dongying Unveils Low-Altitude Aerial Tours of Yellow River Estuary

2025-03-26

The Yellow River Estuary Aviation Camp had its first session on March 22 in Dongying's Kenli district.

It marked the city's first provincial-level aviation camp approved by the Shandong Aviation Sports Association. The event included the first flight of a new low-altitude tourism route.

With the official opening of this route, visitors can now enjoy breathtaking low-altitude flights over the region's most iconic landscapes — where the Yellow River meets the sea, vast wetlands, red tidal flats, and the unique scenes of oilfield facilities — all showing the distinctive charm of Dongying.

In the future, the camp will further expand its offerings in flight training, low-altitude sports, scientific research, and educational programs, aiming to become a comprehensive base for aviation sports, tourism, and research in Dongying.
