Brazilian Man City forward Kayky, 21, emerges as loan target for Eredivisie outfit Sparta Rotterdam

Manchester City forward Kayky is attracting loan interest from Sparta Rotterdam.

The 21-year-old Brazilian is likely to leave City this summer, either on loan or on a permanent basis,as he is not yet viewed as ready for regular first-team football at the Etihad Stadium.

Kayky joined City from Fluminense in January 2022.

Pep Guardiola handed Kayky his first-team debut in a 4-1 win at Swindon in the FA Cup within a week of his arrival at City, before he made his Premier League bow in a 4-0 victory away at Norwich the following month.

But he has not played for City's senior side since then.

Sparta Rotterdam finished eighth in the Netherlands' top league last season.

Kayky's contract with City is not due to expire until June 2026.
