More than a hundred years ago, French missionaries brought the first coffee seeds to Yunnan Pu'er for planting.

Since then, the tiny beans have taken root here, and at the end of the 1980s, the local government began to take coffee as an advantageous backbone for adjusting the industrial structure and increasing the income and wealth of farmers.

Yunnan is the largest coffee plantation, trade distribution and export center in China，with a coffee plantation area of more than 1 million acres and an output of more than 98% of total coffee production of the country. Ning'er Hani and Yi Autonomous County became Yunnan province's "one county, one industry" county specialized in coffee. The coffee industry has developed significantly here, atracting such brands as Nestle, Starbucks and Ruixing Coffee as an important portion of their supply network. Pu'er Yuan Coffee has opened up a new era of Yunnan Pu'er coffee.    

In August 2023, at the signing ceremony of the economic and trade cooperation projects of the 7th China-South Asia Expo, Beijing Su Hong Technology Development Co.Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Su Hong Technology) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Pu'er, Ning'er,  Hani and Yi Autonomous County, which will vigorously develop the coffee industry and strive to make Yunnan coffee plantation base into a world-class coffee park, so that Yunnan coffee travels all over the world, becoming a messenger of friendship, peace, good fortune and happiness. Chairman of Su Hong Technology Mr.Cheng Jianqiang said that in order to globalize sales of Pu'er Ning'er coffee, they establish Pu'er Yuan Coffee Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Pu'er Yuan Coffee, that means in translation from Chinese as perfect coffee - test of happiness).

Founder of Pu'er Yuan Coffee, Cheng Xuegang, expressed his confidence in building Pu'er Ning'er Coffee into a world-class coffee brand and making coffee as another business card of China after tea.
