Shanghai Summer Joy Continues in September - Shanghai Tourism Festival & Shanghai International Light Festival

Shanghai Summer continues two major events in September

First, the 35th Shanghai Tourism Festival will be held from September 14 to October 6, 2024, for a total of 23 days, and the opening parade city celebration will be restarted. Opening parade, 25 floats will appear on Nanjing Road.

The first Shanghai International Light Festival will then open on September 19, 2024 and last until October 18. In addition to the main venue activities at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the first Shanghai International Light Festival will also host 129 themed activities such as architectural projection shows and light art installation exhibitions in 12 branch venues across Shanghai, striving to create a new window for the city's image and a new IP for night tourism.
