NNB recently conducted experimental research examining the efficacy of their product FastBliss®(Anandamide). FastBliss®, Anandamide also known as AEA, is an endogenous cannabinoid neurotransmitter. The endocannabinoid system is an important constituent of the neuronal substrates involved in the reinforcement and reward processes of the brain. The endocannabinoid system is an important constituent of the neuronal substrates involved in the reinforcement and reward processes of the brain[1]. Before this, The experiment demonstrated that FastBliss® can help to improve mood and depression behaviors. This discovery undoubtedly brings more commercial value to FastBliss®.
The experiment was designed to study the mood improvement effect of FastBliss on reserpine-induced depression in mice. To prove the effect, the mice were divided randomly into 11 groups under different conditions and a positive control group was used for comparison. FastBliss was administered by gavage for 11 days and the mice’s mood was evaluated using the forced swimming test as well as the tail suspension test. In the forced swimming test, mice were forced to swim by placing them in glass containers, one mouse at a time in each container. The swimming of the mice was recorded with a video camera for 5 min, clean water was changed every time a mouse was tested, and the immobility time of the mice within 4 minutes was counted. In the tail suspension test, researchers need to stick the mouse tail with medical tape (about 2cm from the tip of the tail) and hang it upside down on the tail suspension experimental device, with the head 15cm away from the experimental platform, and record the movement of the mouse with a video camera for 5 minutes. The immobility time of the mice within the next 4 min was counted. In both tests, the less immobility time of the mice means the greater their desire for survival and more severe depression behavior.
In figure 1, the middle and high doses of FastBliss could significantly reduce the immobility time of forced swimming in mice. Immobility times were reduced by 26% and 29%, respectively. The combination of middle and high doses of FastBliss® and exercise also can significantly reduce immobility time in mice by 28% (middle dose) and 36% (high dose), respectively. In figure 2, the middle dose and high dose of FastBliss® can significantly reduce the immobility time of the mice. Compared with the positive control group, the immobility time is reduced by 34% and 28%, respectively. When FastBliss® was combined with exercise, FastBliss® in the high-dose group showed a significant difference (p<0.001), significantly reducing immobility time by 33%. In both tests, the results all showed that FastBliss® can improve the mood and depressive behavior of mice, a higher dose or combined with exercise would amplify the outcome of taking FastBliss®. The experimental results undoubtedly prove that FastBliss® has obvious effects on improving mood and improving depressive behavior. For those who are looking for mood support, FastBliss® would be a good choice to consider.
